Transrex is acting as a transportation intermediary only and is not to be considered as the carrier of the freight. The bottom left portion of the bill of lading should contain the name of the actual carrier as well as the signature of the driver picking up the freight.

Property of great value: If no other amount is declared, $4.41 per kilo ($2.00/LB) represents the valuation declared by the shipper for the goods described in the present bill of lading and the shipper acknowledges that in case of loss, the liability of the carrier will not exceed such declared valuation, calculated solely on the lost or damaged portion of the shipment.
